Volleyball Recap: Petersburg Comes Up Short

Petersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Prince George Royals, falling 3-0. If the Crimson Wave were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Royals when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Petersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Prince George, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Petersburg will face off against rival Colonial Heights at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Prince George is set to take on their familiar foe Thomas Dale at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
