Volleyball Recap: Allison Tableman and Caitlyn Pyke Secure Win for Mundelein

Mundelein won the last time they faced Wauconda and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs.

Leading Mundelein to victory were Caitlyn Pyke and Allison Tableman. Pyke had six digs and three aces, while Tableman had five assists and four digs.

They weren't the only good server: Mundelein was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Wauconda still got an impressive performance from Ava Thurler, who had 13 digs and two aces.

Mundelein's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Wauconda, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Mundelein has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Wheeling on the 30th. As for Wauconda, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Evanston on the 30th.
