Football Game Preview: McEachern Indians vs. Lambert Longhorns

The McEachern Indians are taking a road trip to square off against the Lambert Longhorns at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. McEachern is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

McEachern is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They breezed by Grayson to the tune of 32-0. Considering the Indians have won 18 matches by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

McEachern didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Caliyah Davis and Gabriella Soris.

Meanwhile, Lambert faced Denmark in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Lambert won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Denmark 13-12. The win was nothing new for the Longhorns as they're now sitting on eight straight.

McEachern's victory was their 28th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-0. As for Lambert, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
