Soccer Recap: Gateway Victorious

The matchup between Gateway and Ida Baker on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Gateway Eagles came out on top against the Ida Baker Bulldogs by a score of 5-3. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Gateway's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-3. As for Ida Baker, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 6-5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gateway will be home for the holidays to greet Lehigh at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
