The George West Longhorns will take on the Taft Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in George West's favor as the squad sits on nine straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Taft has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

George West's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Hebbronville to the tune of 41-0. The result was nothing new for George West, who have now won six matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.
