Baseball Recap: Pope John Paul II Takes a Loss

Pope John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Providence Christian Academy LIONS. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly eight runs.

Pope John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Providence Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2-1.

Coming up, Pope John Paul II will face off against Lipscomb Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will challenge Northwest at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
