Hudson and Central are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2018, but likely not for long. The Cobras will be home for the holidays to greet the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hudson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hudson fell victim to Mitchell and their airtight defense on Thursday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Mustangs an easy 9-0 victory. While losing is never fun, Hudson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 455th, while Mitchell are ranked 104th).

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Central was not quite Springstead's equal in the second half last Thursday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Jusiah Poindexter and Freddy Hernandez scored both of Central's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hudson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Hudson came out on top in a nail-biter against Central in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Cobras have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
