Volleyball Recap: Weld Central Starts off Right with Win over Rocky Mountain Prep SMART

Weld Central took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They blew past the Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Ocelotls 3-0.

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weld Central is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Sterling at 6:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, they will head out to take on Windsor Charter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Firebirds will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Ocelotls surely won't give up without a fight.
