Basketball Recap: Mission Vista Takes a Loss

Mission Vista made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Grossmont, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Mission Vista fell just short of Grossmont by a score of 44-42 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Mission Vista has suffered since February 5th.

Andrew Ashton went supernova For Grossmont., putting up 19 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Baird, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds.

Mission Vista's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Grossmont, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Mission Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-42 defeat against Bishop's on the 25th. As for Grossmont, they have also already played their next game, a 52-48 loss against Otay Ranch on the 25th.
