Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Malcolm

Malcolm won the last time they faced Nebraska City, and Payton Dolliver did her part to make sure it happened again. The Malcolm Clippers blew past the Nebraska City Pioneers 65-36 on Friday thanks in part to Dolliver, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten boards. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Merryl Paul was another key player, going 6 of 9 on her way to 15 points and six rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Malcolm and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Nebraska City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Malcolm will host Freeman on Tuesday. Malcolm is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season. Nebraska City has already played their next match (against Platteview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
