Volleyball Game Preview: Faith Academy Flames vs. Central Texas Christian Lions

Faith Academy hasn't had much luck against Central Texas Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Flames will head out on the road to square off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Faith Academy comes in on 11 and Central Texas Christian on 16.

On Saturday, Faith Academy got the win against San Juan Diego Catholic by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Faith Academy took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-6, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Central Texas Christian made easy work of Keystone on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-18, 25-9.

Faith Academy better keep an eye on Meredith Turner. She was instrumental in Central Texas Christian's win, getting 13 digs and two aces.

Faith Academy's record now sits at 26-6. As for Central Texas Christian, their record is now 36-3-1.

Faith Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Central Texas Christian when the teams last played back in September. Can the Flames avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
