Soccer Recap: Westland Takes a Loss

Westland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves. Westland were not able to make up for their defeat to Worthington Kilbourne from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Westland's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Worthington Kilbourne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westland will welcome Marion Harding at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westland will be up against Marion Harding's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.8 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Watkins Memorial at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
