It was a good run, but Goliad unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Fulshear Chargers by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2018.

Goliad's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Fulshear, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goliad is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Calallen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fulshear, they will take on Tomas at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
