Soccer Recap: St. John XXIII Takes a Loss

St. John XXIII was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the St. Thomas Catholic Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 back in January.

St. John XXIII's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for St. Thomas Catholic, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.

St. John XXIII does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Thomas Catholic, they will face off against St. Pius X at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Pius X is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
