Taylor Bower gave up the fewest hits he has since back in February on Monday. He was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Abbeville Christian Academy is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-7 otherwise.

Bower's effort led Abbeville Christian Academy over Crenshaw Christian Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Abbeville Christian Academy is 8-1 against Crenshaw Christian Academy going back to March of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
