Baseball Recap: Bellefontaine Takes a Loss

Bellefontaine lost against London back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chieftains might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-4 to the Red Raiders, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bellefontaine saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sutton Daring, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Bellefontaine's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for London, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-7.

While Bellefontaine had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
