Basketball Recap: Pitt County P Gets the Win

Pitt County P's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Unity Christian Academy Warriors 28-26.

Despite the defeat, Unity Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kayleigh Ballance shot 50% from the field en route to 18 points and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ballance has scored all season.

The win got Pitt County P back to even at 1-1. As for Unity Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pitt County P will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Jacksonville Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Unity Christian Academy, they will square off against New Life Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
