Lincoln Southeast gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They breezed past the Grand Island Islanders to the tune of 30-0. The Knights have beaten the Islanders the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Islanders has come to flipping the script.

Kadin Logan went supernova, rushing for 78 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Lincoln Southeast didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Grand Island to a completion percentage of just 38.7%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Caden Ward, Jaxon Fittje, and Javion Fuller, who each logged one passes deflected. Lincoln Southeast wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 56%.
