Football Recap: Coffee County Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Coffee County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Brentwood Bruins, falling 49-7. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Bruins are ranked 50th).

Kaysen Lowery threw for 125 yards and one touchdown. Kane Dixon was his top target, picking up 80 receiving yards. On the ground, Corontez Garrett rushed for 30 yards.

Coffee County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Brentwood, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Coffee County Central and Summit will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another on the 17th. As for Brentwood, they will welcome Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
