Volleyball Recap: Sylmar Comes Up Short

If Sylmar was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Van Nuys on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Eagle Rock Eagles on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-19.

Sylmar's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Eagle Rock, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Sylmar will take on Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eagle Rock, they will welcome Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
