After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Veterans Memorial, Tivy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Smithson Valley Rangers by a score of 73-66. This was a revenge game for the Antlers: when they faced off against the Rangers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 75-59 defeat.

Smithson Valley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wayne Jurica, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 24 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Clemence, who went 5 of 8 to rack up 15 points and five rebounds.

Tivy's win bumped their record up to 14-18. As for Smithson Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Tivy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-45 defeat against Boerne-Champion on the 4th. As for Smithson Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 58-47 loss against Veterans Memorial on the 4th.
