The Pope John Paul II Knights fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They were beaten by Franklin Road Academy 48-6 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Pope John Paul II can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 145th, while Franklin Road Academy is ranked 34th).

Elijah Robb and Connor Lynn certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Robb rushed for 135 yards, while Lynn only threw for 17 passing yards and failed to score a touchdown.
