Volleyball Recap: Channel Islands Comes Up Short

Channel Islands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Castaic Coyotes.

Channel Islands' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Castaic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Channel Islands wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. Bonaventure on the 30th. As for Castaic, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Hueneme on the 30th.
