There's no place like home for Crescenta Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Burbank Bulldogs a 13-0 shutout on Tuesday. Another player making a difference was Megumi Ono, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Crescenta Valley's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Burbank, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season.
