Spring has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 20. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the MacArthur Generals on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Spring can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 579th, while MacArthur are ranked 64th).

Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-4. As for MacArthur, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Spring is set to square off against their familiar foe Dekaney at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, MacArthur will take on rival Westfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
