Football Preview: Parker Braves vs. Menendez Falcons        
        
		
             After each having a week off, the Parker Braves and the Menendez Falcons will shake off the cobwebs and  challenge  one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Last Friday, Parker lost to Fletcher on the road  by a   28-14 margin. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings  (they are ranked 286th, while the Senators are ranked 103rd).
 Although Parker took the loss, they still got scores from  Jaiden D Tomlin and  Tony Kennedy.
 Meanwhile, Menendez lost  34-14 to St. Augustine last Friday. The Falcons were down  34-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Mason Lynch, who picked up 41 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 66 yards. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in  total yards. Another pass catcher making a difference was  Nate Carr, who picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Even if they lost, Menendez's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was  Maddoxx Lehman and his two. He is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made five or more in the last 12 games he's  played dating back to last season.
 This is the second loss in a row for Parker and  nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Menendez, their record now sits at 1-1.
 Parker and Menendez were almost perfectly matched up  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2021, but Parker suffered an agonizing  14-13 loss. Can Parker avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
