 The Philip Simmons Iron Horses will head out on the road to  challenge  the North Charleston Cougars at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Philip Simmons has four straight  wins, North Charleston has five straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Philip Simmons gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  an  8-0 margin over Battery Creek. Eight seems to be a good number for Philip Simmons as the  squad scooped up a  win with the same number of  goals in their previous game.
 Their offense was hitting Battery Creek from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. 
 Tess Neary led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.
 Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for North Charleston's offense. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 11-0 walloping at the hands of Battery Creek two weeks ago.
 Philip Simmons is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-7-1 record  this season. As for North Charleston, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
 Philip Simmons took their  victory against North Charleston  when the teams last played  back in March by a conclusive  19-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Philip Simmons since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
