Carbon Hill came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Cold Springs Eagles by a score of 3-1. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Carbon Hill had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-21, 25-11, 25-22.

Carbon Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaidence Jones out in front who had six digs and six aces. Jones is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 23 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Laila Dunham, who had 14 digs and two assists.

Carbon Hill's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Cold Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Carbon Hill has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Sand Rock on the 6th. Hopefully Cold Springs paid attention to the Bulldogs' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
