Soccer Game Preview: E.D. White vs. St. Michael

The E.D. White Cardinals will head out to take on the St. Michael Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Michael took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on E.D. White, who comes in off a win.

E.D. White was handed a three-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Terrebonne. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since November 24, 2020, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, St. Michael was not quite Pope John Paul II's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 1-0.

St. Michael has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-3 record this season. As for E.D. White, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-1.

E.D. White beat St. Michael 3-1 when the teams last played back in January of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
