Baseball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

St. Paul came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-3 to the Millbury Woolies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

St. Paul saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Swank, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That run marked the first that Swank scored this season.

St. Paul's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Millbury, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, St. Paul will face off against South at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Millbury, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tantasqua Regional at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
