Soccer Game Preview: EPIC Academy vs. Kenwood

The EPIC Academy Legends will head out on the road to face off against the Kenwood Broncos at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. EPIC Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

While EPIC Academy's win against South Shore International wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Legends' defense stepped up to hand the Tars a 1-0 shutout back in September. The victory was a breath of fresh air for EPIC Academy as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Kenwood hasn't lost a match since September 23rd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Neither they nor Back of the Yards College Prep could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

The win got EPIC Academy back to even at 4-4. Kenwood's draw gives them a new season record of 11-2-4.

EPIC Academy might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from Kenwood when the teams last played back in September. Can the Legends avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
