Football Recap: Wilcox's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Lynbrook on Wednesday, Wilcox came back down to earth. The Chargers took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Spartans on Saturday. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wilcox fell to 2-1. As for Mountain View, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Wilcox wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Santa Clara on the 13th. As for Mountain View, they have also already played their next game, a 39-13 loss against Milpitas on the 13th.
