Basketball Recap: David Anderson Comes Up Short

David Anderson lost against Columbiana back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The David Anderson Blue Devils took a 57-43 bruising from the Columbiana Clippers. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 581st, while the Clippers are ranked 241st).

It was another big night for Seth Struharik, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 24 points for Columbiana. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Davanzo, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

David Anderson now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Columbiana, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

David Anderson will host Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbiana, they will head out to challenge Wellsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbiana is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.2 points per game this season.
