Football Recap: Morristown Takes a Loss

Morristown came into this matchup off a tough 24-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Elizabeth Minutemen by a score of 24-21 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Colonials in their meetings with the Minutemen: they've now lost three in a row.

Morristown's record now sits at 2-5. As for Elizabeth, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Morristown will look to defend their home field on Friday against Morris Knolls at 6:30 p.m. As for Elizabeth, they will head out to take on Watchung Hills Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
