Baseball Recap: Los Osos Grizzlies vs. Upland Highlanders/Scots
Los Osos had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Upland Highlanders/Scots. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 10-4 win on Wednesday.
Gavin Loeb-Keene tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and only one walk). Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Andrew Cromwell was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since April 1st. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Samples, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Los Osos always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Upland only posted an OBP of .323.
Los Osos' record is now 15-6. As for Upland, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
