Arlington couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks 35-0 on Friday. The Admirals lost against the Goldbacks in their previous head to head back in November of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 35-34 score last time.
