Volleyball Recap: South Kitsap Comes Up Short

The South Kitsap Wolves came up short against the Kennedy Catholic Lancers on Friday, falling 3-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Maggie Yearout paced South Kitsap's offense, picking up eight kills. Yearout got some help from Leilani Killian and her 18 assists.

South Kitsap's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Kennedy Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-1 record this season.

South Kitsap has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Skyview on the 14th. As for Kennedy Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Tahoma on the 15th.
