Softball Recap: Erie-Prophetstown Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Erie-Prophetstown's offense. They came up short against the Kewanee Boilermakers on Thursday, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Erie-Prophetstown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Kewanee, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

While Erie-Prophetstown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
