Soccer Recap: Christian Heritage Takes a Loss

Christian Heritage came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-1 to the North Murray Mountaineers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2020.

Christian Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Murray, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Christian Heritage will head out to face off against Chattooga at 5:00 p.m. on March 14th. As for North Murray, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Union County at 5:00 p.m. North Murray will be up against Union County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.25 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
