Volleyball Recap: West Ranch Victorious

West Ranch's tournament run continued when they took on Westview on Saturday. West Ranch walked away with a 2-0 victory over Westview. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

While West Ranch won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 27-25.

Noah Douphner paced West Ranch's offense, picking up 12 kills. Douphner got some help from Stephen Choi and his 14 assists.

West Ranch's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Westview, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-10.

West Ranch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Francis Parker on the 22nd. As for Westview, they will welcome Mission Vista at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Westview's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
