Softball Recap: Arlington Catholic Takes a Loss

Arlington Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 30-1 to the St. Mary's Spartans. The match marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Arlington Catholic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addie Goodwin, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Arlington Catholic's record now sits at 0-6. As for St. Mary's, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arlington Catholic will host Cardinal Spellman at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Mary's, they will take on Monomoy at 12:00 p.m. on the 26th.
