Fulshear came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 71-49 margin over the George Ranch Longhorns. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Longhorns are ranked 808th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

George Ranch lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Emily Stevens, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 12 points. Those 12 points gave Stevens a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Kulcak, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 13 points.

Fulshear's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for George Ranch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-17.

Fulshear will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Alief Elsik at 7:00 p.m. As for George Ranch, they will head out to face off against Alief Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alief Taylor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.1 points per game this season.
