Basketball Recap: Eagan Comes Up Short

Eagan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 86-69 bruising from the Prior Lake Lakers. The Wildcats lost against the Lakers in their previous head to head back in February of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 94-45 score last time.

Eagan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Prior Lake, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Eagan will square off against Duluth East at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Prior Lake, they will face off against Rosemount at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
