Football Recap: Monarch Takes Down Coral Glades in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Monarch had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the Coral Glades Jaguars with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 20-6. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Jaguars back in March, they had to take a 9-0 defeat.

The win (which was Monarch's third in a row) raised their record to 6-8. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average over those games. As for Coral Glades, with the loss, they broke their 13-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-2.

Monarch has already played their next game, a 28-0 defeat against Stoneman Douglas on the 15th. Coral Glades does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
