Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Delta walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Wellington Eagles on Saturday. Considering Delta have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Wellington with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Meri Hollembeak (3), Rachele Olson, and Avery Flores.

The victory was the third in a row for Delta, bringing their record up to 12-3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Wellington, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1.

Coming up, Delta will square off against Kent Denver on Tuesday. Delta's defense better be ready for this one: Kent Denver have averaged an impressive 4 goals per game this season. Wellington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
