Softball Recap: Redlands East Valley Victorious

Redlands East Valley picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the San Juan Hills Stallions, sneaking past 2-1.

Isa Navarro spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit. The dominant performance gave her a new career-low in hits.

On the hitting side, Redlands East Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mele Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Redlands East Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for San Juan Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Redlands East Valley and San Juan Hills will both be playing Vasquez the next time they take the field. Redlands East Valley will head out to face Vasquez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while San Juan Hills will host them at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
