Soccer Recap: Franklin Wins Going Away Against Centennial

After failing to score in their last contest, Franklin made sure to put some goals up on the board against Centennial on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Cougars. Considering Franklin have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Centennial with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Macy (2), Caleb Moss (2), Kiran Moore, and Tristiano Alfano.

Franklin is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-0-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six contests. As for Centennial, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Franklin will take on rival Nolensville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Centennial is set to face off against their familiar foe Brentwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
