Volleyball Recap: Back of the Yards College Prep Gets the Win

Back of the Yards College Prep hadn't done well against Juarez recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bobcats came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Bobcats were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Bobcats were just returning the favor.

Back of the Yards College Prep not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Juarez between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.

Evelyna Perez paced Back of the Yards College Prep's offense, picking up three kills. Perez got some help from Paola Diaz and her five assists. Perez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
