Football Game Preview: Saraland Spartans vs. Spain Park Jaguars + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Jamison Roberts and Brock Bradley are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Saraland Spartans will square off against the Spain Park Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Saraland sitting on ten straight wins and Spain Park on seven.

Saraland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Wetumpka 49-24. Considering the Spartans have won nine games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Roberts and Charles Skipper. Roberts had a great game and threw for 284 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Meanwhile, Skipper did his best for the losing side, throwing for 223 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 38 yards.

Meanwhile, Spain Park beat McAdory 24-13 on Friday.

Saraland better keep an eye on Kena Rego. He was instrumental in Spain Park's win, picking up 105 receiving yards and one score. That's the most receiving yards Rego has posted since back in September.

Spain Park's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Saraland, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.

The upcoming contest will be a clash of competing strengths. Saraland has deployed a run-first offense that has averaged 160.4 rushing yards a game. Meanwhile, Spain Park has preferred to attack from the air: they average 278.5 passing yards per game. So which strategy will prevail on Friday? There's only one way to find out.
