Volleyball Recap: Heritage Has No Trouble Against Emerald

The Heritage Patriots made easy work of the Emerald Aerouants on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-17.

Ava Fippin paced Heritage's offense, picking up five kills. Fippin got some help from Camy De La Chevrotiere and her 21 assists. De La Chevrotiere also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kara Mendoza, each putting up two.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Emerald, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Coming up, Heritage will face off against Pittsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Emerald, they will venture away from home to challenge Concord at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
